借金を返済できなった商人や職人の
帳簿台、乃至、作業台を、債権者が
壊してしまう風習を認めていたのだという。
In England, according to some historians,
it was legal in the common law that
the creditors would break the workbenches
of the debtors as a custom who were merchants
or craftsmen, when they couldn't
pay back the debts.
