It is lucky for today’s mystery lovers that a late-19th-century intelligent Scottish was not busy in his main business as a medical doctor. The unsuccessful ophthalmologist had enough time to create the world’s 1st private detective, who lived at 221B Baker Street, London: Sherlock Holmes. It seems to me that the hero is one of the avatars of the author, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. In A Case Of Identity, Sherlock Holmes says about his philosophy on investigation to his client, Mary Sutherland. Dr. John Watson, another avatar, writes his words:
