Op-Ed for Black Children

"If Black English isn't a Language, Then, Tell Me, What Is?" US writer James Baldwin stated an op-ed opinion against Ann Arbor subject on Black vernacular speakers & public school teaching in the July 29, 1979, New York Times. He complained about the disadvantage of Black children, but his opinion should be generalized on education for all children:

A child cannot be taught by anyone who despises him, and a child cannot afford to be fooled.
子供は子供を見下す人から教えられてはいけないし、馬鹿にされるようなことがあってはならない。
