Time is a Circus
Time flies. Another expression for it was written by Ben Hecht (1894-1964), US screenwriter, director, producer, playwright, & novelist. He says in a biography Charlie: the improbable life and times of Charles MacArthur (1957):
Time is a circus always packing up and moving away.
時間とはいつも荷造りして引っ越していってしまうサーカスである。
