Remedy is better than Regret

It is the common recognition of positive thinkers that we must be walking forward for the future, even if some mistake has been made in the past. We can’t change the past. It is the future that can be changed for the better. Remedy is better than regret. Henry Ford (1863-1947), the father of the assembly line technique of mass production in the car industry, tells us concise advice to be positive:

Don't find fault. Find a remedy.

たとえ過去に間違いをおかしてしまったとしても、未来に向かって歩み続けなければならないというのは積極的に考える人々の共通認識である。過去は変えられない。より良く変えられるのは未来である。修正することは後悔するよりまし。自動車業界で大量生産のライン組立法を創始したヘンリー・フォードはポジティブになるようにと端的にアドバイスしている。
