The Worth of Something

Thomas Fuller (1608-1661), English churchman and historian, gives us his wisdom through his writings. This is a quotation for us who are apt to forget the worth of something:
We never know the worth of water till the well is dry.

井戸が枯れるまで水のありがたさには気づかないものである。
(トマス・フラー)
