Peace of Soul

Georg Christoph Lichtenberg (1742-1799), German scientist & philosopher, was recording quotations, reflections, personal sketches, etc. in notebooks from 1765 until 1799, the last year of his life. He called the notebooks Sudelbücher (waste books) & they were found & published after his death. Each volume is marked by a letter of the alphabet from A to L in order, instead of a number . In Notebook E, an aphorism about the inner peace is written:
Nothing contributes more to peace of soul than having no opinion at all.
